This Privacy Policy explains what information the Macros app ("the app," "we," "us") collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Macros works fully on your device without an account. If you choose to create an account for backup and cross-device sync, we store your email and your app data securely so it can appear on your other devices. We do not sell your data or use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
If you do not create an account, all of your data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
If you choose to create an account, we collect:
We do not collect your name, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Your email is used solely to authenticate your account. Your app data is used solely to provide cross-device sync. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for marketing.
Account data is stored using Supabase, a cloud database and authentication provider, protected by row-level security so each user can only access their own data. Data is encrypted in transit.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open the Account tab and choose "Delete my account." This is immediate and cannot be undone. If you use the app without an account, simply deleting individual entries or uninstalling the app removes your data.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
